Our signature A-1 Skullcap has become internationally recognized for its exclusive quality and impeccable detail. It is available in an extensive selection of fabrics, including classics such as regular satin, bridal satin, moiré, velvet, linen, knit, silk, wool and velour. They are also available in contemporary textiles such as leather, suede, foils, brocade, burlap and felt. The A-1 Skullcap can also be ordered in our specialty yarmulke styles, including custom prints and sports themes. Choose from an astounding range of colors to suit your taste, or match the color of your party décor. Once you submit your custom order, each of your A-1 Skullcaps is manufactured in five individual stages to achieve A-1 results.
Cutting
First, the fabric you chose is cut to size with cutting-edge precision. Baruch, your yarmulka’s professional cutter at Skullcaps Co., skillfully operates a huge hydraulic machine to cut your yarmulkes to perfection. The machine is capable of exerting two tons of pressure to flawlessly cut fine satin, tough leather, and any other fabric of your choice.
Sewing
Next, your yarmulkahs are individually pieced together with ultra-fine threads. Meet Shaindel, your yarmulka’s beloved seamstress. Shaindel has been with Skullcap Co. since its humble beginnings decades ago. She went from being our lone seamstress to mentoring, advising, and directing a team of over twenty other tailors on our factory floor.
Trimming
After your kipahs are sewn, they are ready to be adorned and beautified. Whether or not you chose a custom trim, gold or silver, braided or twisted, each yarmulke receives a special trimming to complete its look. The yarmulke now seems done, but won’t be ready to ship before a trained inspector makes sure that it is meets A-1's rigid quality standards.
Stamping
Once your kipot pass inspection, the fun begins. Chaim, our on-staff printer, designs a custom printing plate according to your preference. He then stamps the outside and inside of each yamaka, thus creating a masterpiece made especially for you.
